The Very Messy Artist - Getting Ready for A Very Hungry Caterpillar 2nd Birthday

Today is a drizzly-gray day. This morning as I looked out the window, I thought, "Oh, great. This is going to be a l-o-n-g day since we are probably going to be stuck inside." Then, as I snuck downstairs on tip-toe to not wake two sleeping boys, I decided it was not going to be such a bad day after all. I let the boys sleep in ('til almost 10am which is a very, very rare event in this household!) They are usually up as soon as the sun reaches a certain brightness. My almost-two-year old wakes up first and his morning chatter and squeals are the alarm clock to notify my 3 1/2 year old to get up.
